Just days ahead of their annual Groundbreak conference, Procore has announced a new feature upgrade to their platform called Embedded Experience.
Embedded Experience allows fully functional versions of 3rd party applications to be embedded within the Procore platform, so users no longer have to leave Procore to harness the full ability of their favorite apps. While the company currently has over 100 different 3rd party software integrations, it only allows part of the data you need to transfer between apps in most cases.
Procore promises that their embedded apps will install with a click of a single button.
Over 30 different apps have already built their Embedded Apps as part of the announcement, including several of our favorites, like OpenSpace.ai, Earthcam, and StructionSite. Those apps will be available to embed on the Procore App Martketplace starting today.

“We currently use six different tools and want to get that down to one solution with an extensibility component. We want to use Procore as the central hub and Embedded Experience is giving us that option within the platform,” Alexander Reed, a Digital Transformation Engineer at Flint Hills Resources, LLC, told Procore.
Programs like Google Sheets will also be able to embed directly into Procore, allowing users to update their spreadsheet without leaving Procore, allowing everyone on the team to stay up to date with changes.
It’s certainly good to see that Procore is continuing to develop its partnerships with 3rd party applications. As we’ve said in the past, nothing is more important to technology adoption in the construction industry than ease of use. A big part of that is playing nice with applications that compliment your own.
