One of the biggest advantages of using a project management platform, whether it be Autodesk BIM 360, Procore, or another, is the ability to have access to all project information on the go. For construction tech companies, making a simple mobile app that’s intuitive and easy to use is key. Autodesk is simplifying their available apps and has recently released a new unified BIM 360 mobile app.
The new Autodesk BIM 360 mobile app integrates Document Management (Docs), Field Management, and Project Management within the same interface. It’s currently available for download on both Android and iOS devices.
The app allows users to do a lot of the things they can currently do on the full desktop platform, including:
Completing safety and quality checklists
Creating and editing Issues
Viewing and editing Daily Logs
Accessing plans and project files
Adding and editing markups to drawings or models
Taking photos and attaching them to an Issue or Checklist, and
Viewing RFIs

On a related note, Autodesk also recently announced an integration with Microsoft Office 360. Both of these announcements should greatly reduce data input redundancies that have happened in the past.
