Construction Junkie’s annual Best Construction Podcast Competition is underway for 2019 and the voting booth is officially open. As part of the contest this year, we will be highlighting one of the contest’s nominees each week. This week we highlight The Lien Zone Podcast (TLZ).
Hosted by Miami construction lawyer, Alex Barthet, The Lien Zone Podcast provides excellent construction legal advice for contractors and those in the trades. Each weekly episode is easily consumable and sticks to the topic called out in the title, so you know exactly what you’re getting into.
In the past, the Lien Zone Podcast had been consistently about 10 minutes or less per episode, featuring only Barthet’s advice he’s gained from experience. In recent episodes, however, TLZ has jumped into a longer form, even diving into interviews with representatives from companies like BuilderTrend, SmartBarrel, and CMGurus.
This year will mark the 4th time that the Lien Zone has been nominated for Best Construction podcast, notably placing in second place in 2016, as well as being crowned champion in 2017. We look forward to seeing how the Lien Zone Podcast continues to grow in the future!

After a round of nominations, the stage has been set for the 5th annual Best Construction Podcast Competition presented by Construction Junkie. This year we have several familiar faces, as well as a couple new ones.
